Collective Leadership Assessment
Outcomes:
All employees contribute anonymous input via the CLA and the results reveal a collective assessment of current versus ideal cultures (or collective leadership), based on 31 dimensions of leadership. (Note: we subscribe to Brené Brown’s definition of leadership, which has the potential to apply to all people in your organization: “Anyone who takes responsibility for finding the potential in people and processes, and who has the courage to develop that potential.” As such, we direct people to assess the ENTIRE culture’s leadership, including themselves, their colleagues, and senior leadership.)
Opportunities to better understand personal, colleagues’, and senior leadership’s strengths and opportunities, as well as collective strengths and opportunities.
Agreed-upon behaviors, identified by all employees, that will allow the team/organization to close the gap between current and ideal culture. (Participants will be prompted to ensure that behaviors are aligned with Vision, Mission, and Values.)

Pre-retreat assessment (~20 minutes).
Highly participant-centered workshop (all on one day, or split up) wherein participants will share their strengths and opportunities, come to understand colleagues better, as well as how the team/organization can more effectively leverage the strengths of the collective.
Skilled facilitation focuses on creating a growth-mindset environment, which includes contributing to happiness through fun, challenge, and connection.
A People & Culture Strategy (also called a Talent Management Strategy) is a comprehensive plan that helps organizations attract, develop, and retain skilled employees to meet business goals; it ensures organizational resilience, builds competitive differentiation, and supports sustained evolution. Components of a People & Culture Strategy might include:
Talent Acquisition | Onboarding and Orientation | Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging | Learning & Development | Succession Planning | Metrics & Analysis | Performance Management | Compensation, Wellness & Benefits | Employee Engagement & Retention
Engaged employees retain better, are more effective at driving strategy, are a leading indicator of financial success, and are happier at work and at home, among other benefits. In other words, employees are one of your most valuable assets, yet effective means of designing and implementing engagement strategies is elusive to most organizations.
Path Collective can audit or help you design and implement an employee engagement strategy that will leverage the hearts and skills of your people – in part by using the Purpose-Driven Employee Engagement Model. The original model is featured in Brooke’s book, Organizational Heartbeats: Engaging Employees in Sustainability by Leveraging Purpose and Curating Culture, which is based on her international research of organizations that are leading in employee engagement.

THE ORGANIZATION PATH
“Path Collective provided tremendously valuable tools and feedback to allow me to be more confident and effective in my life - both professionally and personally. The Leadership Circle Profile assessment and one-on-one coaching illuminated my true strengths as a leader, as well as my weaknesses. Knowing is half the battle, and by using this information I’ve been able to own my leadership “personality,” leverage my strengths in more meaningful ways, and develop creative solutions to address areas that I’m not as strong in. In the short time since completing the Path Collective, I’ve majorly excelled in how I communicate and work with my professional teams to deliver high-quality work.”
- Rois Langner, Senior Engineer, National Renewable Energy Laboratory
