Brooke Moran Ph.D.

Brooke Moran, Ph.D.

Co-Owner and Principal

  • For over 20 years, Brooke has been helping elevate organization and supporting leaders to develop their skills and find purpose through:

    • Talent management strategy consulting

    • Coaching, culture curation and leadership development programs

    She has worked with executives from companies like PwC, Microsoft, Hasbro, John Deere, UPS, Ericsson, Fidelity, Schneider Electric. She also works with purpose-driven non-profits and government agencies.

    For many years, Brooke has served as adjunct faculty at Dartmouth College's Tuck School of Business and University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School.

    Brooke's areas of expertise include talent management, sustainability employee engagement, culture curation, professional/executive coaching, thought leadership, and program design and facilitation.

    In addition to being Co-Owner at Path Collective, she's an emeritus professor at Western Colorado University, where she still advises in the Outdoor Industry MBA program.

  • Brooke is passionate about helping purpose-driven people work toward their potentials. She meets coaching clients where they are in their professional and/or personal leadership journeys and is a staunch believer that all employees can be leaders, from wherever they sit in the organization, provided that they have the requisite tools, support, and courage. Brooke creates a supportive, fun, and challenging coaching relationship wherein people are encouraged to be authentic and step out of their comfort zones in pursuit of evolution. Brooke poses challenging questions in the co-creative relationship, offers observations, and celebrates brave steps, successes and the learnings that derive from missteps. Brooke often employs Leadership Circle Profile, a 360-degree assessment that investigates 29 task and relationship dimensions of leadership. She coaches via phone and virtual platforms, as well as in person, when geographically possible.

    She is an International Coaching Federation Associate Certified Coach and has studied emotional intelligence, positive intelligence, and self-efficacy, among other topics, which she incorporates into her coaching practice.

Paul Tame

Co-Owner and Managing Director

  • Paul has built cultural dexterity throughout his diverse career, excelling in various fields while adapting to different cultural contexts. His experiences include:

    • Executive coach, Insights Discovery certified facilitation, leadership development expert

    • Traveling the world, conducting outdoor education risk management audits, as well as designing and facilitating risk management and leadership development programs with diverse audiences

    • Educational basecamp director, Australian Army service member, high school teacher, and higher education senior instructor

    His approachable style, emotional intelligence, and knack for building trust (including convincing people to try Vegemite) have earned him respect in all these settings.

Paul is a certified professional coach with the Coach Training Alliance, has worked in over eight countries, and he has robust experience working with corporate, NGO and governmental organizations. He has an approachable style that enables him to connect with diverse clients. He brings extensive leadership expertise to his practice, and he is dedicated to collaborative, solution-based learning for each client.

Heather Hughes

Professional Actor, Arts Educator & Public Speaking Coach

  • Heather is an actor, director and teaching artist. Heather has over 20 years of audition and public-speaking coaching experience as well as extensive experience working with executives on how to lean into their authenticity in the workplace. Heather's years in theatre have taught her that what she identifies as the core tenets of acting; being present, being honest, trusting yourself and listening, are beneficial focuses to ANYONE in any field. When we practice these tenets we become better at communicating, which makes us better managers, co-workers and people in the world. While living in NYC, Heather worked as a Teaching Artist with multiple theatres including The New Victory Theatre, Disney, ENACT, and The Lincoln Center, and worked as an Executive Coach with Gurumaker, founded by New York Times bestselling author on executive presence, Harrison Monarth. Clients included General Electric, Dunkin' Donuts, and the U.S. Army. Heather is currently on faculty in the education department at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, and in 2021 was named Western Colorado University's first ever Artist-in-Residence.

She brings more than 30 years of experience coaching leaders, creating spaces for transformational conversations, and building customized, award-winning Leadership and Talent Development Programs in the fields of healthcare, wellness, outdoor industry, hospitality, and public service. Her expertise has directly contributed to awards, including Fast Company’s 50 Most Innovative Companies, Forbes America’s Best Employers List, Forbes Best Employer for Diversity, and ASTD BEST. Gretchen is a professor of HR Change Management, Leading a Culture of Innovation, and Leadership Development for DU | University College Strategic HR Masters Program.
